Sometimes you delete image or important file from your Android mobile phone. Or the worst case your android mobile phone broken or you made factory recovery and lost your all photos from it. What will you do to recovery it?  Don’t worry; you’re in the right article.

There’re some methods and Android programs could help you to recover photos that removed from your mobile phone. There’re simple methods and others more advanced to solve your problem.  Let’s begin:

1- Recovery images from cloud storage.
Most apps offer store images on cloud storage except Instagram, and there would be backup copy service for your photos. If you have activated this service, your image is probably not deleted.
When you delete photos from your Photo gallery in your phone it doesn't deleted from the cloud backup service.
And for recovery it, you should sign into your cloud storage app and download it. In Google photos app, you should open the image and choose Save to Device from menu.  Otherwise, in Dropbox the method will be like that: Extract and save to device.
If you deleted the image from your cloud backup, you can recover it from there as well. Most cloud storage services use a recycle bin that allows you to recover any deleted files within a specified time frame.

Use Google Photos
Open the Google Photos app, and choose Trash or Bin from the side options bar. Click and hold each photo you want to restore, then click Restore. Deleted files are available for 60 days.
Microsoft OneDrive
For Microsoft OneDrive, open the app and go to Me> Recycle Bin. Select the files and press the Restore button. OneDrive keeps deleted files for 30 days, but may delete them earlier if your trash can occupy more than 10% of your total storage space.

* You also have Dropbox
In Dropbox, you must log in to your computer in order to recover deleted photos. You can't do this from the app on your phone. Go to Files then Deleted Filers, then choose the files you want to recover. Files remain available for 30 days after deletion.
Other cloud storage applications work in similar ways. Check your account terms to see how long the app keeps your deleted files.

2 Recover photos from your SD card
What if you don't back up your photos in the cloud? In this case, your next hope is that you have saved your photos to the memory card (SD) on your phone.

You can connect your card to a PC and use special recovery software to try to recover lost photos. But there are no guarantees that you will be able to recover it.
Deleted files remain on memory cards until they are replaced with new data. So once you realize that you've accidentally deleted photos, remove your card from your phone to reduce the risk of being replaced.
if your mobile phone does not have a memory card, unfortunately this method will not work. You can't use software to scan your mobile phone for deleted files, because Android no longer uses USB Mass Storage. That is why it is also difficult to recover text messages.
Recover deleted photos using EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard
And that’s the most good free program to recovery photos.  You can download it for Windows OS or Mac OS.

First, connect your memory card to your computer, either through a card reader or using the SD card slot on your laptop.
Install and open Data Recovery Wizard. Once activated, it will show you all available disk partitions from which you can restore data. Your hard drive and memory card should be included.
Select the memory card and press Scan. The application will now start scanning for any files that can be recovered. You can retrieve up to 2 GB of data at a time in the free version.

Scanning can take up to 20 minutes or more, depending on the size of the card and the amount of data on it. But you do not have to wait until the end.
Select Type on the left panel. Click the drop-down arrow next to Graphics and choose jpg (or whatever file format your phone saves images). This shows all the images that you can restore on the main window. SELECT IMAGE THAT YOU WANT

Click on Recover Now and choose the path where you want to save the images to your hard disk. Those pictures will be extracted and stored in a special folder. You can now copy it back to your phone.

3 Recover deleted photos on a phone that underwent Root operation
If you do not use a CLOUD backup service or an SD memory card, it is very difficult to recover deleted photos from an Android phone.
Despite claims after applications on the Internet, there is no way to clear the internal storage of your phone to recover lost files unless your phone has undergone a root process.
The root process is a software process performed in the Android system to open the field for some applications that need root access to access the root of the Android system.

If you don't have another option, you can try performing a root operation on your phone. However, this may require you to erase your phone data, which greatly increases the likelihood that your deleted photos will be replaced and lost forever.
Fortunately, if your mobile phone already has a root process, the process is simple.

Undelete images by DiskDigger
Install DiskDigger Photo Recovery from the Play Store. It is a free app to recover photos and videos. You only have to pay if you want to restore other types of files.
Launch the application and give it root permissions on request. You will now see Basic and Full Scan options. Ignore the first option, as it only finds low-resolution thumbnails for your photos. Focus on Full Scan instead.
Find your phone's internal store space. They are usually represented in the data / section. Click on it, then choose the file type you want to search for (most likely JPG and / or PNG). Press OK to start.

The app immediately starts scanning, showing you a thumbnail grid of everything it finds.
Not only shows you your deleted photos, it also displays each image in your phone's internal storage space. So it takes a long time to finish.
To filter some results, press the Settings button. Increase the Minimum File Size by selecting 1,000,000, for example, so your results will be limited to files larger than 1 MB. You can also specify the time frame for the search in the period when the images were deleted.
DiskDigger cannot find every deleted image, some of which may be corrupted. But when he finds the pictures you want, select them and hit Recover.
Choose the path where you want to save the files. You can save them to a specific app, or return them directly to the camera file. To do this, choose the DCIM file. And press OK to save your photos, and you're done.

However, how to avoid losing your photos next time
The best way to avoid losing your important photos in the first place is to make backup copies of them somewhere.
The easiest option is automatic upload to cloud storage. These apps run silently in the background, and you can control when your photos will be uploaded.
By setting it to work only when you are connected to Wi-Fi and while charging your phone's battery, care can be taken not to harm the Internet package on your SIM card or battery life.
Google Photos gives you unlimited free space for your 16 megapixel photos - big enough for most Smartphone cameras - and 1080p videos. Flickr gives you 1 TB free, and uploads the photos in original quality.
